Brides To Be
We are, first and foremost, a nonprofit. Our mission is to assist those with a smaller budget (under $500) and/or a very tight time-frame (within 3 months) in which to find a gown. While anyone is welcome to shop with us and we try to make your visit as enjoyable as we can, we do not offer a "bridal experience". We highly recommend that you make appointments to try on gowns at area retailers before making an appointment at SBB if the experience is what you are after.
Our staff are all unpaid and we value the time they volunteer to help our clients. They will listen to your likes and dislikes and make suggestions based on their knowledge of our selection and what might look best on your shape. They may also tell you pros and cons to a gown you are considering. Alterations can be expensive and cannot factor into the donation you make for your gown.
All gowns are "off the rack" and they are sorted by size. In order to maintain them in the best condition possible, we don't allow your guests to look through the racks alone. Our maximum is 2 guests per bride and one of those may come back with you to search for the gowns you would like to try on. A staff member will assist in the dressing room and you will have an opportunity to model your choices for your guests. You are welcome to take photos.

We have a good selection of new and gently used wedding dresses in sizes 00 - 30. Many are current styles and are new with original prices tags showing they were well over $1,000. Our ability to continue to provide this service is based on the monetary & gown donations that we receive from our customers and the public. We ask that you be as generous as possible, within your budget, to help us help the next person.
